USB Audio Recorder PRO is a multimedia software developed by eXtream Software Development for Android devices. This full version software is designed to record and playback audio in high quality from a USB audio interface. It is important to note that this is not a generic driver, and you can only playback and record audio from within the app. The app is not compatible with other apps. eXtream Software Development has written a custom USB audio driver from scratch because many Android devices do not support USB audio or not in the full quality that their driver offers. No rooting is required.
The app provides users with the ability to record and playback mono, stereo, and multichannel audio with sample rates of up to 384 kHz (depending on your audio device). You can also select the recording format (wav/flac/ogg/aiff), output/input selection, and buffer sizetoframes). The app also features level meters for playback and recording with peak hold to see what your loudest peak was, monitor button to set your levels before recording, and basic playlist functionality (directory playback). You can share your recordings through GMail, SoundCloud, etc. Please note that there is no mp3 playback or fancy graphics, as the app is meant for recording.
